# SimpFish Privacy Policy

## The Short Version

SimpFish does not collect, store, sell, or transmit your personal data, tank photos, or usage habits. All image processing, 25/40-slice depth scrubbing, species classification, and monologue generation happen locally on your iPhone using Apple Vision and the Apple Neural Engine. Nothing leaves your phone.

## 1. Camera Access & Image Processing

SimpFish requests access to your iPhone camera solely to provide live viewfinder preview, 2cm optical macro autofocus, burst depth sweeps, and 60 FPS video reel capture.

- Frames captured through the camera are processed locally on your device.
- Exported share cards and 60 FPS video reels are saved to your local Photos library or shared via the iOS Share Sheet only when you tap Share Card or Export Reel.
- We operate no external vision servers. We never upload your photos, videos, or camera streams to any cloud provider or third party.

## 2. On-Device Artificial Intelligence

Species identification and comedic monologue generation run locally on your iPhone using Apple Vision and Apple Intelligence Foundation Models.

Your photos are never used to train external machine learning models, and inference queries are never transmitted over the internet. SimpFish works offline in Airplane Mode.

## 3. Third-Party Analytics & Tracking

SimpFish contains:

- **Zero** third-party analytics SDKs (no Google Firebase, Mixpanel, or Amplitude).
- **Zero** advertising networks or marketing tracking pixels.
- **Zero** tracking identifiers (we never request or read IDFA).

Because there is no backend server infrastructure and no user database, there is no personal data to breach, leak, or subpoena.

## 4. In-App Purchases

Purchases of the one-time SimpFish Pro Lifetime Unlock ($4.99 Launch Deal, regular $7.99, with Apple Family Sharing) are handled directly by Apple Inc. through the App Store using StoreKit 2. We receive only anonymous cryptographic purchase tokens on-device from Apple to verify unlock status. We never see or store your credit card number, billing address, or payment details.

## 5. Children's Online Privacy (COPPA)

SimpFish is suitable for aquarium hobbyists of all ages. Because our application collects no personal data from any user, it complies with COPPA and global privacy regulations.
